For the business end of things, all pets must meet certain requirements in order to stay with us. Veterinary proof of vaccinations is required. Any deviation from these requirements requires veterinary notice. Every dog must be current on vaccinations which are as follows:
- DA2PPHL – administered within the past 12 months
- Bordetella – administered within the past 6 months
Evaluation
An evaluation is conducted on all dogs prior to their stay. The evaluation is a two to four hour session in which we check over your dogs vaccination records and conduct an assessment on his comfort level in our facility. The evaluation is a meet a greet session that gives both your dog and our staff an opportunity to get to know one another. This way we can be prepared to provide him with accommodations that best suits his needs.
*Please provide your dog with a veterinary approved residual monthly flea and tick treatment.
Neuter and Spay
It is not required that all dogs be spayed or neutered. A non spayed female is allowed to socialize, however should she go into estrus (heat) she will be isolated. Small non neutered males may socialized under strict supervision on a case by case basis. Due to the nature of the large dog pack we do not socialize non neutered males once they show signs of maturity. Though he may never show signs of dominance or aggression, he may be challenged by other dogs because he is intact. We do have accommodations that allow non social dogs to run and play apart from the pack.
